Anna had the joy to be married to Heraldo Botelho last year on June 16th (see wedding for more details). During the wedding prep process, Anna had a lot of time to think about what was important in her life, and what she wanted to spend her time and energy doing. Because of this time away from the competitive dance world, Anna realized that she wanted to get more involved in the environmental movement that is so critical to today's world. Although Anna loves dance and will continue to dance with her partner, friends, and husband, she wants to dedicate her work hours to promoting "green" energy and living.

Anna hopes that you will find this site useful in locating environmental resources. As well, this will be a place to check in on the various projects that Anna is keeping herself busy with (Acterra's Earth Day celebration, and the campaign for Barack Obama are two examples).
